THE LOCAL BEACH

The area offers a lot of different beach experiences from the well known Mediterranean beaches to small beacheas surrounded by mountains. But our own favorite is the local beach, Mar Menor. Only 2 km from the resort lies the Mar Menor, a huge lagoon 26km long and 7km wide which is well known for its warm tranquil and salty water, rich in health giving minerals. Besides being close it is also safe for kids, has crystal clear water, clean sandy beaches and is always 5 degrees warmer than the Mediterranean Sea. You will find cafes and restaurant along the stunning promenade.

OTHER BEACHES

The area offers a lot of different beach experiences from the well known Mediterranean beaches to small beaches surrounded by mountains. You can drive 15 min north and find long wide sandy beaches and enjoy the Mediterranean Sea. Or you can go to the Roda Beach club situated on La Manga right on the Mediterranean beach, or you can use one of the many La Manga beaches with lot's of activity and watersports. However, we recommend you take the opportunity and enjoy the small beaches surrounded by the mountains located between Cartegena and La Manga. Imagine a perfect sandy beach at the Mediterranean Sea only 100 meters wide with rocky sorroundings. A perfect day on the beach.
